yeah she leaves in some random time, so we might have a threesome.... who knows.... (referring to 3 in the companionship)
ahhhh I love your letters.... I was thirsting for family. LOL....
Jessie had the opportunity to attend a meeting presided over by Elder Wilford W. Andersen of the Second Quorum of the Seventy….It was good.... very wet to enter and dangerous to drive. The storm didn't even hit the day they said it would and when it hit it was just rainy.... nothing different. Just driving in hard rain for an hour was scary tho. (Tropical Storm Emily swept by PR.) We had President (Alvarado) and his wife talk and then Elder Andersen and his wife. It was good and Elder Andersen did a question answer thing. I wanted to ask a question but didn't have my chance. We were all freezing inside the building too... don't know why no one turned off the AC. We all were purple, even the dark Latins. LOL.... After President selected a few missionaries in our Ponce zone and the Mayaguez zone to talk with Elder Andersen and Hermana Garcia and I were chosen. Also two elders came back on their missions after going back home early... one of them is Elder Perez and now he is in my district. He was in my district in DR.
About the smaller meeting with Elder Andersen and about Elder Perez………
It was normal and super short, not as personal as I hoped and he was the same who visited Adjuntas for church... so it wasn't my first time (meeting him), LOL, and I don't know why Elder Perez left, I don't think it was cuz he was sick... but yeah it's cool to have him again...... Hey so I've been craving mint something...especially ice cream and I haven't seen anything here with mint..... I don't know why but it's super hard to find mint here. Anyways I asked the family that bought me ice cream where I could find mint and they were like oh it’s here. So we were at a fireside with (Elder) Andersen before our mission conference and this family comes up and are like we have something for you... come to our house.... we found your mint ice cream. So we went and it's been divine... they gave me the tub and then said that when I'm done tell them and they'll supply me refills..... they won't tell me where they found it. LOL. I love those sisters. It's Lizette and her daughter Sarah in Villa de Carmen.
yeah it was so exciting and then they gave us dove chocolate too, seriously they are adorable, there are a few sisters that are totally family here in Ponce to us.1. We had a baptism in the ward.... yeah our menos activo RM had her sons serve mini missions and then her sons received their correct priesthood and then her older son baptized her son who is almost 9 years old. They have been waiting for him to be baptized because the son didn't have the correct priesthood. The old bishop held it back from him.... the new bishop is changing lives... it's been a huge change and really the service was beautiful! Lohary also bore her testimony and it was just beautiful to see this family progressing and she said they weren't going to. Hehehehe.
2. The Fruit man's name is Ector.3. No one I mean no one answered their doors this week.... so it was a very long week.
4. I'm having breakdowns....
5. I received a letter from a family in Utuado that was nice and surprising.
6. Found out that EFY (Especially For Youth) is in the DR (Dominican Republic) next year and I so wanna be a counselor. Can you check online? Maybe Hermana Garcia and I can both do it... I so want to visit her after!!! 7. okay I have 3 CD’s I will be sending you (of pictures). One of them I need back; the one that will say "good Times in Ponce Comoletti". LOL.....
8. hmmmm not sure what elseIt’s from an art gallery thing in the library and we were like it's us!
